On the Kenyan Road
In November of 2012, I travelled to Africa. My destination was Kenya and in first place I went to Nairobi. This city was something completely new for me: a place with a different colour and smell. I felt in love with Kenya in the very first moment.
After my stay in Nairobi, I spent some days on the never ending red sand roads of Kenya. It is amazing all the things that you can observe through a van window. I went to Samburu, Nakuru, Maasai Mara and Naivasha.
The life in Kenya goes close to these avenues. Most of the schools, shops and hotels go along the edge of the road and in both sides of the way people assemble to trade, to make errands or just to talk. This photographic project aims to present how are these lives linked to the path.
Africa has something special in the air. Once you have been there, you will dream about Africa and you will feel the necessity of go back again from time to time.
